Policies
Retainer & Hourly Rates

Our hourly rates apply to all work performed for a client unless otherwise specifically addressed in a Scope of Project Work Memorandum. All work outside the activities specified in a Scope of Project Work Memorandum are subject to the rates detailed below.

Standard Hourly Rates

Our standard hourly rate is $175.00, billed in fifteen-minute increments. Standard hourly rates apply to all work performed during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, EST Monday through Friday).

Retainer Hourly Rates

Retainer clients receive a discount of 30% off our standard hourly rate. Therefore, all work performed during normal business hours will be billed at $122.50 an hour.

After Hours Rates

All customer-requested project work and efforts that take place after normal business hours (5:01 PM - 7:59 AM, EST Monday through Friday) are subject to an hourly rate equal to time and one-half. Therefore, retainer clients would be billed $183.75 an hour, and non-retainer clients would be billed $262.50 an hour.

Weekend and Holiday Hourly Rates

All customer-requested project work and efforts that take place on a weekend or holiday are subject to a rate equal to twice the standard hourly rate. Therefore, retainer clients would be billed $245.00 an hour, and non-retainer clients would be billed $250.00 an hour. The weekend is defined as all day Saturday and Sunday. Holiday dates include New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas.

Emergency Hourly Rates

After Hours rates apply to all unscheduled work and efforts requested by the client during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, EST Monday through Friday). Weekend and Holiday Hourly rates prevail for all other times.

Unscheduled work is defined as any efforts requiring an immediate turnaround or attention, emergency service calls, last minute requests, etc.

Family Vacation Hourly Rates

Our annual family vacation usually falls on the last week of July and/or first week in August. TeleAdvice is also closed the last week of the year. An email will be sent to the contact of record no later than 30 days prior to the vacation date providing the exact dates of our vacation. During that time, messages will be retrieved on a daily basis no earlier than 8:00 PM. An emergency alternate advisor will be provided to assist clients during this time period. Any efforts that require the assistance of the CEO will be billed according to the Weekend and Holiday hourly rates detailed above.

Trip Charges

A Trip Charge applies to all customer-requested on-site service efforts, subject to a one-hour minimum. This charge covers the costs associated with travel time, fuel expenses, vehicle wear and tear, maintenance, insurance, etc.

Metropolitan Atlanta Area

Client's within the 404, 770, 678, and 470 area codes are subject to the standard Trip charge of $50.00. Retainer clients receive a reduced Trip charge of $35.00.

A trip charge for After Hours and Weekends/Holidays efforts is $75.00. Retainer clients are also subject to the same fee.

Other Georgia Locations

Client's within the 706 area code are subject to a Trip charge of $60.00. Retainer clients receive a reduced Trip charge of $45.00.

A Trip charge for After Hours and Weekends/Holidays efforts is $100.00. Retainer clients are also subject to the same fee.

Other Locations

All other locations will be billed travel time, both to and from the customer's premise, at the appropriate hourly rate.

Any efforts that exceed 12 hours may include travel compensations including, but not limited to, Hotel room fees, air travel expenses, and car rental expenses. All fees will be agreed upon in advance.

Remote Maintenance

All remote maintenance efforts are subject to the same rates and terms as project work.

On-Site Meetings

All on-site meetings are a scheduled appointment and are subject to one-hour minimum labor, billed at the appropriate rate. However, trip charges do not apply. Appointments exceeding one hour will be billed accordingly.

All scheduled appointments will be confirmed via email and will include a reminder of our cancellation policy.

On-Site Meeting Cancellation Policy

This date and time has been scheduled for you and we have dedicated personnel specifically for this project, arranging our schedules accordingly. Should you need to reschedule this appointment, we require 48 hours advance notice. All cancellations after this time period will be assessed a $200.00 cancellation fee. The goal of this policy is insure we continue to provide dependable services to all our clients.

The cancellation policy also applies to our staff. In the event that we are more than 15 minutes late for this scheduled meeting, or in the event that we cancel within the 48-hour window, your account will be credited $500.00. We are the only consulting firm we know of that penalizes itself when we do not meet our commitments. We do this because we appreciate that your time is valuable.

Conference Calls

Conference Calls are a scheduled event. All Conference Calls are billed a minimum of one hour, at the appropriate rate, which covers preparation, call bridge (if applicable), and the call itself. Calls exceeding one hour will be billed accordingly.

All Conference Calls will be confirmed via email and will include a reminder of our cancellation policy.

Conference Call Cancellation Policy

Conference Calls are a scheduled event. The date and time we scheduled for you required us to dedicate personnel specifically for the call, as well as arrange our schedules accordingly. Should you need to reschedule a scheduled conference call, we require 48 hours advance notice. Cancelations after the notice time will be billed for the one hour minimum at the appropriate rate. The goal of this policy is insure we continue to provide dependable services to all our clients.

In the event that one of our advisors is more than five minutes late or fails to attend a scheduled conference call, your account will be credited $500.00. We are the only consulting firm we know of that penalizes itself when we do not meet our commitments. We do this because we appreciate that your time is valuable.

Cabling Rates

The following are the subcontractor rates for cable runs. Trip charges also apply.
